The boy is a psychological horror thriller movie, directed by William Brent Bell and written by Stacey Menear. The concept of this movie is really unique and will genuinely changes the manner of thinking. This movie is an international co-production of China and USA. This kind of horror movie will goosebumps and surely horrifies the audiences.

As this movie is an exceptional creation, however it's ranking are unsatisfying. The Boy has IMDB rating of 6/10, 30% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and its Metacritic score is 42%, Distributed by STX films and produced By Lakeshore entertainment, Huayi Brothers production, Vertigo entertainment and STX FILMS. The overall budget of this movie was $10 million where as its box office collection was gross $64 million.
Plot's explained.....
The Boy story begins with Greta, she natively belongs to America but she was appointed as nanny for Heelshire's family, Heelshire family was very rich, Greta reached at their mansion and start exploring. Before entering the mansion she removes her shoes at the door step and move inside. While exploring the mansion Greta meets Malcolm who was the weekly supplier at Heelshire's mansion. Malcolm was very charming with a kind of attractive personality. Who was flirting Greta as she was beautiful to, anyways Greta meets Mr. And Mrs Heelshire whe she come to know that, she have to take care of their child name Brahms.
Greta was shocked to know that Brahms was not human it was just a porcelain doll and Greta had to take care. Heelshire's family was behaving in such a way that the doll was a real human. Firstly Greta did not take it seriously but later she believe that Heelshire were really serious and she had to take care of the porcelain doll. Viewers notice that Greta's shoes were missing from the door step where Mrs. Heelshire answered "Brahms might have taken those shoes, he is very playfull".
On the same day at evening Mr. Heelshire says that Brahms like Greta and she was the first nanny liked by Brahms. Where as she also come to know that Mr. And Mrs. Heelshire are going on a vacation where Greta has to take complete care of Brahms. Before leaving the mansion Mr. Heelshire give a list of rules, which Greta have to follow strictly. The rules were as follows.....
- Greta had to wake up the doll loudly.
- When Brahms wakeup Greta had to change here dress.
- Greta had to read story and play Brahms favourite music loudly.
- Left food should never been thrown, instead it should be stored in the freezer.
- Greta had to place rat traps out side the mansion and clean it so that rats can't enter the mansion.
When Greta and Malcolm were talking, Greta come to know that real Brahms was died 20 years ago in a mysterious fire. From then Mr. and Mrs. Heelshire treat this doll as Brahms. Bonding between Malcolm and Greta was increasing and Malcolm invite Greta for an informal date in evening. Greta removes her clothes and jewellery for the date and go to take a shower. After shower Greta realizes that her clothes and jewellery is missing she thinks that there is some one else in this mansion and start searching it. She saw that the attic door was open, she move into the attic and saw a shadow coming toward her, the shadow hit Greta's head with a stick and Greta was now unconscious,and was locked in attic. Malcolm came to receive Greta and was waiting outside. As Greta was in attic her voice was not reaching till Malcolm. Malcolm thought Greta had changed her mind so he left from mansion.
Next day the attic door was automatically unlocked, Greta comes out and immediately call Malcolm and explains him everything. Greta also says that she hear some abnormal voice from the walls, where Malcolm says that people leaving in this area gossip that Brahms was abnormal since from his childhood, Malcolm also says that one day when Mr. Heelshire was drunk he said Malcolm about Brahms who is totally an odd person his behaviour was abnormal anyways,
Next day Greta found her lost shoes and she saw that Brahms doll was sitting on his bed along with the list of rules which Heelshire gave Greta, which she have to follow strictly. After watching all this Greta was afraid and locked her in a room where the landline ring's and on the other side viewers listen to Brahms voice where he says that he will behave nicely and Greta saw a sandwich was placed at the door of her room. Now Greta totally believes that Brahms ghost was present in the doll so Greta started taking care of the doll according to the rules,.
Where in the next plot the viewers saw that Mr. And Mrs. Heelshire was on a beach and attempt suicide in the sea. Now Mr. And Mrs. Heelshire was dead leaving Greata and Brahms behind. From then Greta take care of Brahms and she ignore everything else. Greta convey Mlacolm that Brahms is quite shy and to communicate Brahms knock the walls. To prove this Greta lock Brahms in a room and after some time when they unlock the door Brahms place was changed. After watching all these Malcolm was shocked and he convey that Brahms can be an evil spirit. Malcolm then finally reveals that 20 years ago, a girl named Emily comes at Brahms House to play. But on brahms 8th birthday Emily was mysteriously missing and police found her dead body in near by forest, where her head was badly crushed. Before police can interrogate Brahms, he was dead in a mysterious fire at his house. Here Greta convey her past story to Malcolm that Cole was her boyfriend how he used to abuse her, she also convey that she was pregnant by Cole but because she was abused she had a miscarriage. And now Greta is taking care of Brahms thinking he is her own child.
In the next plot viewers come to know that Cole was reached at the mansion whose address was given by Gretas family members. Cole was came to take Greta. Where he comes to know that Greta was taking care of a porcelain doll. Greta don't want to go with Cole so he seeks help from Brahms. At night when everyone was sleeping, rats blood drop on Cole's face and someone had written Get Out on the window. Cole assumed that it was done by Greta. At the time Cole saw that doll so he decided to break that doll, at the same time Malcolm was reached and he refused to break that doll. But Cole was in all anger so he break the doll.
As the doll was broken the whole lights started blinking and mysterious sound were coming from the wall And suddenly a mirror breaks from which Cole was injured. Here we can see a person coming out from that broken with a porcelain mask. Here we come to know that the person was Brahms And yes he is still alive. Brahms attack on Cole and kills him after that Brahms turn towards Greta and Malcolm but before Brahms can attack on they, they rush and start running in that mansion. All the doors and windows were sealed and there was no exit. While running Malcolm and Greta enters in to an unknown room where they saw a dummy lied on the bead with the same jewelry and coral dress stolen from Greta. Here Greta receive a letter which was left by Mr. Heelshire where she come to know that she was left here to become Brahms mating partner. Suddenly Brahms entered the room and hurt Malcolm very badly. Here Greta found the exit and rush towards the exit door but Brahms said if she left he will kill Malcolm in the same way he killed others in this mansion. But Greta left the mansion but soon she remembers that she have to save Malcolm. She returned back in the mansion with a screwdriver hiding behind here. She convey Brahms that she had returned only for him and according to the rules Greta order Brahms to sleep. Brahms and Greta entered the room and Brahms asked for a good night kiss. As they were going to kiss Greta stabbed Brahms stomach with the screwdriver and left him injured.
In the last scene we see that Greta and Malcolm left the mansion and Brahms was still alive and fixing his porcelain mask. Which suggest the sequel will be release soon.
